Mella Hunter joined the Focused Energy sales team in November 2010.  After covering a large Midwestern sales territory with a natural foods distribution cooperative in the 1990’s, Mella focused on studying Healing Arts, Massage and Midwifery through private apprenticeship with masters in those fields.  Having integrated her varied gifts, strengths, and life experience, she brings to the team an authentic ability to relate to and anticipate the needs of our customers.  Mella has received training through Solar Energy International and continues to learn and grow with our rapidly evolving industry.  Born in Kentucky, she’s a Bluegrass girl who has lived in the high desert of New Mexico for eleven years.  Her home is in Santa Fe with her husband Jonathan, their 11-year-old son, a very friendly dog and a not-overly-friendly cat.  She spends her free time with her family exploring slot canyons and island waterfalls, cooking for friends, hiking with her dog, and genuinely appreciating her simple, peaceful life.
